Bug#465216: Not every fsck.something has a -p flag
Severity 465216 wishlist retitle 465216 ocfs2-tools: please add -p flag to fsck.ocfs2 thanks Hi! You do NOT want automatic FSCK of ocfs2 filesystems on bootup, the filesystem may be already mounted on other nodes (being a cluster filesystem). A --progress switch is missing, though. Or the maintainers of initscripts? I'd call this an fsck.ocfs2 bug. We don't want to be encoding details of different filesystems' fsck.foo options in /sbin/fsck. The easy workaround is to set the fstab pass# to 0, which will prevent fsck from trying to call fsck.ocfs2 when it is called with the -A flag. - Ted
