Tony,

This bug doesn't just affect disk and network and it doesn't just affect
the T610.

I'm seeing problems detecting the disk and network controllers and usb
media (you also reported this earlier in the ticket) on a Dell R610. These
also have the same components as the R710 and I should imagine also the
T710 and probably others. In fact, probably anything with the new Nehelem
processors which these boxes are sporting.

I believe this isn't a driver issue, but a kernel issue loading the modules
properly.

Andrew

OK, Very good. Please expand the title appropriately. Or merge this
bug into the appropriate larger one.

Is there any further information I can provide to help solve the issue?

I believe this isn't a driver issue, but a kernel issue loading the modules
 properly.

Interesting. Can you identify the modules in question? If so, I can try
loading them manually when I get the initramfs prompt and see if /dev/sd[abcd]
show up.

Best Regards.
