Source: avant-window-navigator Version: 0.4.1~bzr830-2 Hello:
It seems that the source was modified after being downloaded from bzr. If a pristine copy of upstream is not possible then these changes probably should be at least be documented in a README.source with an optional get-orig-source routine that reproduces the changes done by the maintainer. The diff from the original source in bzr is huge but if all that it was done before repackaging was this: rm -rf debian/ && ./autogen.sh && "command to pregenerate the vala files" Then most likely this could have been done from withing the rules files with the exception of the removal of the upstream debian folder. This is explained in better explained in DD reference 6.7.8.2 http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/best-pkging-practices.html#bpp-origtargz and debian policy 4.9 for the get-orig-source target http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-source.html#s-debianrules Hope this helps, Miguel -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
