Bug#1056104: libreoffice: please enable ENABLE_WASM_STRIP_PINGUSER

2023-11-16 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Source: libreoffice
Version: 1:7.0.4-4+deb11u7
Severity: normal

Hi,

LibreOffice features a prompt that pops up every now and then, asking
users to get involved or to donate. I'm not sure asking repeatedly is
reasonable, and it seems like ENABLE_WASM_STRIP_PINGUSER would be
appropriate to turn that off. Implementation details can be found in
SfxViewFrame::Notify().

Thanks for considering.

Cheers,

Bug#919103: fixed in libreoffice 1:6.1.4-4

2019-01-15 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Hi Rene,

Rene Engelhard  (2019-01-15):

>* debian/control.kde*.in: Replaces: libreoffice-kde (<< 1:6.1.0~alpha1-1)

FWIW, I've just confirmed that this makes the dist-upgrade successful
(trying an upgrade from stretch to unstable, instead of one from stretch
to buster, since libreoffice will need some time to build everywhere and
become a candidate for migration):

Result: KO RC=100 for
cmd=/home/kibi/work/release-checks.git/scripts/upgrade-desktop-task stretch
buster kde
Result: OK RC=0 for
cmd=/home/kibi/work/release-checks.git/scripts/upgrade-desktop-task stretch
unstable kde

Bug#919103: libreoffice-kde5: failure to upgrade from stretch: soffice.odg also in libreoffice-kde

2019-01-12 Thread Cyril Brulebois
Package: libreoffice-kde5
Version: 1:6.1.4-3
Severity: serious
Justification: failure to install/upgrade

Hi,

Testing the upgrade path from stretch to buster for various desktop
tasks, I've noticed the following issue:

Unpacking libreoffice-kde5 (1:6.1.4-3+b1) ...
dpkg: error processing archive
/tmp/apt-dpkg-install-q3iqce/43-libreoffice-kde5_1%3a6.1.4-3+b1_amd64.deb
(--unpack):
 trying to overwrite '/usr/share/templates/.source/soffice.odg', which is
also in package libreoffice-kde 1:5.2.7-1+deb9u4

which breaks the dist-upgrade.
