Nonetheless, thank you for showing the care :) My mistake, I didn't notice that in the manual. :) Here's some more things I've found (in go-ansible): - golang-github-go-errors-errors-dev is only used in pkg/vault/variableVaulter_test.go, should it be and removed from Deps? - golang-github-spf13-cobra-dev is only used in the examples (specifically examples/ansibleplaybook-cobra-cmd/ansibleplaybook-cobra-cmd.go), should it be removed from (B-)Deps? Bug#1058897: ITP: pointpats -- statistical analysis of planar point patterns
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Josenilson Ferreira da Silva X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, nilsonfsi...@hotmail.com * Package name: pointpats Version : 2.4.0 Upstream Contact: Name pysal developers * URL : ttps://github.com/pysal/pointpats * License : BSD-3-clause Programming Lang: Python Description : statistical analysis of planar point patterns The main objective of this module is to provide methods and functions for analyzing spatial patterns in point data. This includes the detection and characterization of different types of patterns, such as clusters, scatters or random patterns. . The project is integrated with the PySAL library, which is a broader library for spatial analysis in Python. This means that PointPatterns can be used in conjunction with other tools available in the PySAL ecosystem. . One of the main features of the module is to provide methods to calculate descriptive statistics, detect spatial clusters, perform orbit analysis and even perform statistical tests to evaluate the significance of observed patterns. Note: dependency required to build 'spopt' from version 0.6.0

Bug#1058867: ITP: golang-github-bradenaw-juniper -- extension to the Go standard library
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: maytha8the...@gmail.com, debian-de...@lists.debian.org, debian...@lists.debian.org * Package name: golang-github-bradenaw-juniper Version : 0.15.1 Upstream Contact: https://github.com/bradenaw/juniper/issues * URL : https://github.com/bradenaw/juniper * License : Expat Programming Lang: Go Description : extension to the Go standard library Juniper is a library of extensions to the Go standard library using generics, including containers, iterators, and streams. . - `container/tree` contains a `Map` and `Set` that keep elements in sorted order. They are implemented using a B-tree, which performs better than a binary search tree. - `container/deque` contains a double-ended queue implemented with a ring buffer. - `container/xheap` contains a min-heap similar to the standard library's `container/heap` but more ergonomic, along with a `PriorityQueue` that allows setting priorities by key. - `container/xlist` contains a linked-list similar to the standard library's `container/list`, but type-safe. - `xslices` contains some commonly-used slice operations, like `Chunk`, `Reverse`, `Clear`, and `Join`. - `iterator` contains an iterator interface used by the containers, along with functions to manipulate them, like `Map`, `While`, and `Reduce`. - `stream` contains a stream interface, which is an iterator that can fail. Useful for iterating over collections that require I/O. It has most of the same combinators as `iterator`, plus some extras like `Pipe` and `Batch`. - `parallel` contains some shorthand for common uses of goroutines to process slices, iterators, and streams in parallel, like `parallel.MapStream`. - `xsort` contains extensions to the standard library package `sort`. Notably, it also has the definition for `xsort.Less`, which is how custom orderings can be defined for sorting and also for ordered collections like from `container/tree`. - You can probably guess what's in the packages `xerrors`, `xmath`, `xmath/xrand`, `xsync`, and `xtime`. . Packages that overlap directly with a standard library package are named the same but with an `x` prefix for "extensions", e.g. `sort` and `xsort`. . Bug#1052444: ITA: librepfunc -- set of C++ classes and utilities for building multimedia tools
Hello Phil, Thank you for your ITA. Apostolos recently showed also some interest in adopting the packages (librepfunc & w-scan-cpp) although, IIRC he's a beginner in packaging. I gave him some directions. Maybe you could get in touch and discuss how you want to go further on this matter. As of today the packages are up to date in salsa but since I'm not a DD (and not a DM) I can't upload anyway. So you may upload them to unstable. For now the repo is located under my account. Would you like permission on the repo, or maybe you could move it to the "debian" group, or "vdr-team" group (where the older w-scan is located). There is a particularity with w-scan-cpp that one has to be aware of: it is a multiple upstream tarball package. So it uses the "component" feature for the "vdr" directory. You can grab more info on components in uscan(1) manpage. Because of this we have to ensure that upstream released the files (w-scan-cpp & third party packages) with same version number. See d/watch. The d/gbp.conf file already takes care of that aspect. Upstream author is very kind and was very helpful in adapting his software with the changes that were required to create the package. For the last update he even asked me if the changes he planned would be fine and how they would impact the Debian package, or how to coordinate on the impact. If you need assitance, please don't hesitate.
