Bug#852846: forensics-all: Depends on conflicting packages: crack vs crack-md5
2017-01-27 17:36 GMT-02:00 Axel Beckert: > Package: forensics-all > Version: 1.5 > Severity: important > > Dear Debian Forensics Metapackages Maintainers, > > forensics-all depends on both, crack and crack-md5. But crack and > crack-md5 conflict with each other. > > forensics-all is though still installable, but only because crack-md5 > also "Provides: crack". (Hence not "Severity: serious".) But once > crack-md5 decides to drop that Provides, forensics-all will become > uninstallable. > > So please change the dependency on "crack, crack-md5" to "crack | > crack-md5". IMHO that's the only variant which makes sense. Hi Axel, Thanks a lot for your message. I will wait for Stretch release and fix this issue. Bug#853935: rephrase: No more works with gpg2 and causes one pinentry popup per guess
Hi guys, Axel, thanks a lot for your patch. I have a special interest over this bug because it will affect forensics-all and forensics-full packages. Tiago, I did a Team upload and I sent it to 5-day/delay queue now. If you want, I can cancel it. Otherwise, I will wait rephrase enter in unstable and ask to Release Team for unblock. The changelog is: rephrase (0.2-2) unstable; urgency=medium * Team upload. * debian/control: - Bumped Standards-Version to 3.9.8. - Updated the Vcs-Git field to use https instead of git. * debian/patches/02_minimal_gpg2_support.patch: added to unconditionally call gpg with "--pinentry-mode loopback", allowing rephrase work with GPG2. Thanks to Axel Beckert. (Closes: #853935) I attached a debdiff.
