Ideal SCSI adapter for me?
I have a FreeBSD 7/amd64 system with a newly incompatible SCSI adapter (see kern/128452 for details). I want to switch to a card that's still supported but don't want to spend an arm and a leg since its whole purpose in live will be to connect my UW-SCSI tape drive. I had used an Adaptec 2940 U/W PCI SCSI controller to connect a tape drive, no problems; the ahc driver (from vers. 4 up to 7) worked well.
