logout and login after compilation

hi

If I something install from ports, I cant use that command
directly. It says to me that command not found.

Do I have to always log in and log out before use of
command? Is there some other way?

my shell is csh, 7.1-RELEASE

Use the command 'rehash'.

run the command #rehash , that's a command refresh the env !
