I checked:
- name contains incubating
- LICENSE, NOTICE, DISCLAIMER files are there and look good
- ASF header is in source files
- signatures/hashes look good

NB: KEYS file should be removed for dist dev and keep only the one in
dist release.

+1 (binding) from me,

The App-aware scheduling and Hierarchy Resource Queues of the Apache
YuniKorn(Incubating)
can greatly improve the resource scheduling capability of k8s and increase
the throughput of the App system running in k8s.
We were impressed with these features during our use.

I think that upgrading Apache YuniKorn(Incubating) to a top-level project
would be more beneficial to the development of the project.

good luck!

Hi Calvin

Thanks for the suggestion.
We've discussed this in the past, but because that was a pretty early stage
so we did not create another mailing list to manage.
But now since the community grows much bigger, I think we are going to
revisit this and discuss this. Thanks for your suggestion, much appreciated!

2022-02-16 Thread Xun Hu
Just would like to clarify things here, we did make progresses with our own
github instead apache github. Recently we worked closely with our mentor JB on
migrating all our local github repos to apache github and we completed the
migration a couple of weeks ago.

We would like community to give us a chance to correct all the issues with the
help from our mentor JB.

Hope this will help the community to postpose the decision.

Thanks,

2022-02-16 Thread Xun Liu
Hi,

+1 (binding) from me,

I have checked the following items:
- Incubating in name
- LICENSE and NOTICE are fine
- DISCLAIMER-WIP exists
- All links are valid
- No unexpected binary files
- All ASF files have ASF headers
- Can compile from source
  `mvn clean install`
- Checksums and PGP signatures are valid.

I browsed InLong's website and found that there are some pictures on the
English page[1][2][there may be others], showing Chinese,
if there is time to unify it, it should be better. :-)
