Thanks for your valuable suggestion.
I will revisit the whole process and re-open the vote after fixing the
issues you mentioned.

Best,

Re: [VOTE] Release Apache DevLake (Incubating) v0.15.0-rc2

2023-01-14 Thread Felix Cheung
- incubating in name
- signature and hash fine
- No unexpected binary files
- All source files have ASF headers

- LICENSE, NOTICE and DISCLAIMER

1) is tap-pagerduty required to operate/run? it is in requirements.txt and
it has a GPL-v3 license
https://github.com/goodeggs/tap-pagerduty/blob/goodeggs/prod/LICENSE
https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#category-x

2) BSD-2 or 3 licensed dependencies have a condition for notice - there are
a fair number of them
when dependencies are only for built they are still built into the binary
distribution, generally, projects might use a NOTICE-binary file that gets
included in binary distribution

3) these are "indirect" dependencies that have MPL, ISL, or non-standard
license, require notice etc
https://github.com/hashicorp/hcl/blob/main/LICENSE
https://github.com/davecgh/go-spew/blob/master/LICENSE
https://github.com/russross/blackfriday/blob/master/LICENSE.txt
https://github.com/gogo/protobuf/blob/master/LICENSE
https://github.com/emirpasic/gods/blob/master/LICENSE
https://github.com/go-git/gcfg/blob/v1/LICENSE
https://github.com/kevinburke/ssh_config/blob/master/LICENSE
https://github.com/pmezard/go-difflib/blob/master/LICENSE

My suggestion would be to change to WIP DISCLAIMER until these can be fully
resolved.
