Infrastructure | Discourse 500 error (#216)

2019-12-09 Thread Neil McGovern

Neil McGovern created an issue:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/216

When visiting a thread with a poll, a 500 internal server error occurs.

Example:
https://discourse.gnome.org//t/is-it-time-to-turn-shell-extension-version-locking-back-on/809

>From the logs:
```NoMethodError (undefined method `chart_type' for #)
/discourse/vendor/bundle/ruby/2.6.0/gems/activemodel-6.0.1/lib/active_model/attribute_methods.rb:431:in
 `method_missing'```
I suspect that a gem has gone out of sync somewhere, perhaps an upgrade of the
container may fix it.
I removed your non-LDAP account, you should be able to login using your GNOME
account now, thanks!
Infrastructure | Unable to log into GNOME Chat (#214)
2019-12-09 Thread Rafael Fontenelle
Rafael Fontenelle created an issue:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/214
I created an account in [GNOME Chat](https://chat.gnome.org/home) (instead of
logging in as my LDAP user, which I didn't know I could use at the time) and I
set two-factor authentication (2FA). After logging out and in again, I'm
getting "User not found or password incorrect" error message, so I'm unable to
pass the authentication screen.
I requested password reset, and it seems I successfully reset my password, but
I'm still unable to log in. I noticed that my 2FA token was not requested in
any of my login attempts.
"rafaelff" is the username created in GNOME Chat. I used it to join a couple of
channels, nothing important.
I kindly request:
1. If possible, to be able to use my LDAP user, even if it means to delete the
current user.
2. If not possible to use LDAP, to try to recover my username, removing 2FA,
resetting password or whatever is necessary.
