On further reading, I discovered the "@" method. My apologies for not investigating in more depth before I posted. Is this level of obfuscation considered sufficient? I would expect that anyone trawling mail-archive.com for addresses would be wise to that trick and just un-obfuscate the addresses. Personally I think that addresses should either be stripped out, or replaced using a scheme like: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" -> "dave@HIDDEN". The latter gives you a chance to identify quoted text when it's only identified by an email address.
