Did you make sure no other program (gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor) or kernel
module (such as sdc2xx, stv680, spca50x) is using the device? Do you have

2023-10-31 Thread Jens Lieder

Hello I own a Canon PowerShot G5X Mark II

I tried to use it for a photo booth, but it seems not to be supported.
May be it will be supported in future.

Here you will find information about the Camera. (blue)

 * Record the output of |lsusb| to get the USB ids.

 * Record the output of |gphoto2 --auto-detect| to see if it is
detected in a generic way, or by another name. If it is detected
   already, run the steps below

Modell Port

USB PTP Class Camera   usb:003,002

 * Record the output of |LANG=C gphoto2 --summary >summary.txt| to get
generic summary information into the summary.txt file.
