RE: [IMail Forum] I'm getting duplicate emails from this list - anybody else?

2001-12-05 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I have been getting 2 copies of every email to this list. I'm on several
mailing lists and this is the only one that it is happening on.

Is anybody else having this same problem or is it just me? I have
checked and as far as I know I can tell I am only subscribed under one
 email address.

Are you using Outlook? I know from experience how easy it is to get
duplicates on the client-side, if you fail to check the and stop
processing more rules option as the final rule in your filter setups.
Take a look at the message id in the headers, to see if they are indeed
the same message from the server. Dupes are almost always a client-side
phenomenon.

is it every message or just sporadic? If every make sure you are not
subscribed twice with different addresses pointing to one box.
