RE: [IMail Forum] Program Alias to control delivery of messages

2006-10-27 Thread John T \(Lists\)
I'm trying to figure out the program alias.

We have a server (non Imail) that delivers email to parents. The emails
all come from
the same address and pass through Imail. There are some emails that we do
not want
to deliver so I'm thinking I can setup a program alias that all mail from
this account
will be processed by the alias.

Here's the question: Has anyone setup a program alias that will delete the
mail if a
string is found in the message but deliver it if it's not found?

Why use a program alias? Why not use Imail rules?
