Re: [IMail Forum] Mail to all

2005-12-13 Thread Darin Cox

There's a command line utility in IMail called
mailall.exe that will do it. You put the message you want to send in a
separate file and run the utility to send it. I believe it only handles
plain text emails, though. Run it from the command line with a /? switch
to see how to use it.

Re: [IMail Forum] Mail to all

2005-12-13 Thread David Gregg
Simply create a program alias in imail called whatever you like. Then set
the command to:

   c:\imail\mailall.exe -h ALL -d

This will send mail to all users on all domains.

After you send the mail, make sure you delete the alias so nobody else can
use it :)

There is indeed a much easier and better
way. Oh, and it is known too. It is called IPBrowser for Imail. It will create
a bunch of reports and such and will create the files needed for a list with

Interesting you should mention that -- we're working on something right
now. It's designed primarily to be used with weighting (so that you
wouldn't reject all mail from specific countries outright), but could also
be used to reject all mail from certain countries if necessary.
