Re: [IMail Forum] Mail to all
There's a command line utility in IMail called mailall.exe that will do it. You put the message you want to send in a separate file and run the utility to send it. I believe it only handles plain text emails, though. Run it from the command line with a /? switch to see how to use it. Re: [IMail Forum] Mail to all
Simply create a program alias in imail called whatever you like. Then set the command to: c:\imail\mailall.exe -h ALL -d This will send mail to all users on all domains. After you send the mail, make sure you delete the alias so nobody else can use it :) Regards, David Gregg -- mxGuard for IMail The no-nonsense antispam and antivirus solution for IMail v5.x - 9.x Download a free 30-day trial at http://www.mxguard.com/postmaster/freetrial.asp -- - Original Message - From: Gordon Waters [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: IMail_Forum@list.ipswitch.com Sent: Monday, December 12, 2005 9:55 PM Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Mail to all Have you had a look at F:\IMail*mailall* Ipswitch (R) IMail Mass Mail Utility - Version 8.22 Copyright (C) Ipswitch, Inc. 1998-2001. There is indeed a much easier and better way. Oh, and it is known too. It is called IPBrowser for Imail. It will create a bunch of reports and such and will create the files needed for a list with all Imail addresses.
