[plasma-nm] [Bug 379848] When there is a lot of WiFi connections, the VPN connection is not shown in the list
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379848 Jochen Buchholzchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||bookw...@security.de --- Comment #13 from Jochen Buchholz --- I have the same problem, my openvpn connections are not shown. I must always start nmtui-connect, in this tool I can start the openvpn connection without problems. A special detail is, this problem occurs only when I connected via wifi. When I plug in my cable, the vpn connections are shown and I can connect. I have > 20 Wifi Accesspoints in my neighbourhood. It is very useless to display all these wifi accesspoints priorized, when I'm already connected with wifi. It would be useful to show other possible connections, like vpn connections on top and after these connections the wifi accesspoints. 80% of my shown wifi connections are under 5% signalstrengt, so the wifi accesspoints coud be shown at the end of the list, ordered by sinal strength. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmail2] [Bug 383878] New: custom fonts for message list themes option missing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383878 Bug ID: 383878 Summary: custom fonts for message list themes option missing Product: kmail2 Version: 5.5.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: message list Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: dummycapst...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 107458 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=107458=edit screenshot Dear KDEPIM devs/users, gentoo has made kmail 5.5.3 stable as of today. And, unsuspectingly, updating the world got me into some issues with kmail: 1) it seems I lost the message list theme font editing capability. The one where you can cutomize the font for sender, subject, date and all those bits of email in preview pane. Just in case, the setting I am talking about is here: Settings > Konfigure KMail > Appearance > Message List > Default theme > Configure > pick the theme and see Advanced tab and right click on the fileds (see attached screenshot) The previous version of the kmail( kmail-4.4.2017.04) from the tree had all the bells and whistles. You could chose any font and/or custom color. The new version allows you select custom color, but only allows you make the font either bold or italic which is unfortunate as the my choice of fonts make the message list pretty poorly readable as it looks too bunched up and lacks visual clarity, unfortunately. I grepped kmail-4.4.2017.04/messagelist for "font" and it has plenty going on with regards to the custom font functionality for those fields in a theme. And I am not talking about "softening". My point is about the customization which was present in "previous" version. The new version seems to have rather poor functionality. Is this a planned and conscious choice or perhaps a regression? Can we please have those options back? 2) there is no possibilty ( at least it seems so ) to chose cutom font for unread messages list. I saw a bug report regarding point 2) which was supposedly fixed, alas the last reporter on it said it came back. Please, can you please point me to a resource where I can read about these minor but pertinent issues. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[okular] [Bug 383877] New: Vertical okular_part toolbar should split page number widget
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383877 Bug ID: 383877 Summary: Vertical okular_part toolbar should split page number widget Product: okular Version: 0.26.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: ijp6ibn3mvbq1cvhnt2xyeulhs6...@cmx.ietfng.org Target Milestone: --- As #315053 notes, it is possible to add the page number widget (containing all of a previous button, a current page text box, an indication of current position, and a next button) to the toolbar. However, when the toolbar is vertically oriented, the result is unreasonably wide. It would be nice if either * this widget recognized the vertical nature of the containing toolbar and broke itself into multiple horizontal pieces (e.g. [prev next] [current page] [N of M]) * the constituent objects were available as independent toolbar widgets. This already appears to be somewhat the case, as there are explicit "Previous Page" and "Next Page" widgets already. [Akonadi] [Bug 383263] akonadiconsole unusable on resolutions under 1366x786.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383263 --- Comment #2 from uli--- The scroll bar is not the problem - you can scroll to e.g. personal contacts, highlight it but then you don't reach the edit or whatever buttons below because they are below, not on the screen. If you have a look at the screenshot and compare that window on a screen with higher resolution you can see that the buttons are at the bottom and not visible on my screen (screenshot shows the full screen). [ring-kde] [Bug 383655] Coredumps Galore
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383655 --- Comment #5 from Emmanuel Lepage Vallée--- Umm, it might be another bug on your system. It's very strange/problematic because the backtrace is totally inconclusive (as you already noticed). On my system (still locked to Qt 5.7 as it is the minimum version supported by Ring-KDE), The Qt bug from above is the *only* problem I can see when quitting. Here's a simplified backtrace when Ring-KDE is complited with `-ggdb` and it's debug symbols intact: Application: ring-kde (ring-kde), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1". [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0x7f1190357740 (LWP 2622))] Thread 2 (Thread 0x7f118731c700 (LWP 2635)): [KCrash Handler] #6 0x3e746e69 in ?? The backtrace you report above could have been caused by this issue as it could have trashed the heap and caused random backtraces unrelated to Ring-KDE. However, that theory goes down the hole if you have Qt 5.9.1... I got a Dockerfile for Arch to test the build, but it doesn't help with this issue as it is clearly a bug *in something else* that leaks into Ring-KDE and cause it to crash. I will need to install a full Virtual Machine and investigate. It still worth understanding/fixing even if it's not in Ring-KDE itself, but as Arch have terrible support for debug symbols, it wont be easy... One thing I would appreciate if you could try is (in a terminal): export QMLSCENE_DEVICE=softwarecontext QMLSCENE_DEVICE=softwarecontext ring-kde before executing Ring-KDE. That should help detect if the bug is in the video driver. If it is, there's nothing I can do. I hope it's not, as having a crashy 3.0 release on system similar to use would be catastrophic... If that doesn't work, the next step (assuming I can't reproduce) will be using valgrind on your system. Are you familiar with valgrind? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
