I want to report (2) bugs at the same time : 

1) when selecting multiple attendees (more than one), no invitation is sent. 
If I choose only one attendee, then the invitation is sent with no problem.

2) The autocompletion of email adresses in KOrganizer new event window seems to
be broken.  I have to select from my list of contacts from the 'Select
Attendees...' button or write down the complete address.  Korganizer used to
search into my contacts and Recent adresses.

The error message appears to tell you what you should do:

"The NTFS partition is in an unsafe state. Please resume and shutdown
Windows fully (no hibernation or fast restarting), or mount the volume
read-only with the 'ro' mount option."

If this is a windows partition, then do that. If it's not, then I'm not sure,
not being an expert on NTFS filesystems. Either way, it's not Dolphin's job to
repair filesystems.

Remove delay in dragging tabs

When one tries to drag a tab there is a lot of lag at the start of the
drag gesture. As a result the tab is likely to be trailing the mouse
pointer by inches so that figuring out where the tab will end up is
quite confusing.

Account with thousands of transactions including 0.00 transactions will crash
Skrooge on USD to $ change. The way to go around it is to go to all USD
currency transactions and delete all 0.00 transactions. After that, USD to $
"conversion" works as expected, even for thousands of transactions.

Steps to reproduce error. Open attached Skrooge file. Click "Units". Double
click USD (not $). Go to 0.00 amount transaction (Walmart). Click standard edit
panel. Change currency from USD to $. Click modify. RESULT - [ERR-5]: Operation
update failed.

If you try to update multiple transactions - 3 in this case. Do the same for
all 3 transactions and on "Operation's unit not compatible" prompt click
Cancel. RESULT - same error.

If I try to change single 0.00 transaction from USD to $, I am getting
"[ERR-5]: Operation update failed" error. Same happens, if I try to change
multiple transactions at the same time, including 0.00 one. Same error usually
or Skrooge just crashes with no error if I try to convert hundreds transactions
at the same time.

Sometimes I have to put transaction with 0.00 value and a note describing what
happen. For example, I have a receipt for transaction and inputted it to
KMyMoney, but bank statement never shows that transaction as clear for some
reason. So, I usually just zero out that transaction with "0.00" and put a note
to the comment field with description of transaction and actual amount I paid.

Hello.
KMyMoney using "USD" currency by default. Skrooge is using "$" by default.
Skrooge imports KMyMoney file correctly, creating 2 currencies in use - USD and
$.

I have found that it is not possible to run a report which includes closed
accounts but excludes one other live account.

When using the report filter and selecting all the accounts then the
transactions will include those from any closed accounts. If however you
deselect one of the accounts this also means that the transactions from any
closed account will now not show. 

Is it possible to show the closed accounts in the list of accounts or to have a
tick box to include excluded closed accounts. Or at least a warning on the
account selection window saying if do not select all the accounts then the
closed accounts will not show.

Thanks for reporting.

Closing this as a duplicate of bug 383980, which has a fix targeted for KDE
Applications 17.12. If you can compile from git, please help testing the
synctex functionality as the fix involves a huge upgrade from synctex 1.16 to
1.19.

Updating synctex from 1.16 (6 years old) to the recent 1.19 fixes the crash. As
this is a huge upgrade, please also run through extensive tests of the synctex
functionality with your local documents after applying the fix, so we don't

Doesn't look like it's related to bug 340619 (which is about calligra, but we
crash in synctex).

Possible duplicate: bug 383980 (although there it crashes in
_synctex_free_leaf(), while we crash in _synctex_free_input())

I can reproduce the bug with empty.synctex.gz and an ancient Okular 0.21.1 on
KDE 4.14.4, too. Maybe there's something in luatex / TeXLive which changed
recently (no reports since several years, now two within days)? 

Unfortunately this is not solved by D7495 (which is about trying to reload
again when the previous reload is not finished yet), as the first crash (close
Okular without pressing F5) segfaults in synctex without entering
slotDoFileDirty().

Flupp: I don't think we need another backtrace, but if you are interested
anyway, have a look at [1]. Seems like on Arch you'd need to recompile for
yourself.

I'm not having much success.  Did you happen to patch transcode, as per:

My virtualbox antergos k3b calls out transcode properly.  I can run transcode
manually using the same command-line that k3b reports.  It runs for a while but
then just segfaults.  I'm currently trying to learn how to recompile arch
packages in order to apply the patch above.

Sorry to say, Santhiar, but this bug will not be fixed by us in the version you
used. 4.x versions have been unsupported for several years now.

However, I submitted a patch to phabricator [1] which might be backported by
your distributor. As soon as the patch passes review, you might want to ask
them. I hope that 5.6.1 will be the first released version that contains the
fix.

The bug is still reproducible in 5.6.0, which is why I bothered investigating
it :-P

kwrite with opened txt file

Syntax highlighting for my plain/text file where are placed strings separated

I'm pretty sure that this commit fixed the problem:

I cannot reproduce the crash with KOrganizer 5.6.0, which is the first released
version that contains the mentioned commit.

I close this bug as fixed, but if you still experience it with 5.6.0 or later,

I run into the same issue whenever I want to clear my spam folder, i.e. once a
day. In the past I could select the folder and then Ctrl+A Shift+Delete to
delete all spam messages. Now I have to select one of the spam messages before

Running latest kmail (5.6.0) with plasma 5.10.5 on ArchLinux.
Every time I log out of plasma while kmail is running, it crashes. It blocks
the logout process until the crash windows gets force closed after a few
seconds. Happens in 100% of all cases.

It's kind a hard to debug, because the crash window gets killed automatically
after a few seconds. If you know of a way to get the crash report nevertheless,
please tell me. I can't even copy paste out of it, because I can't paste it
anywhere.

I don't have an ownCloud calendar.
Can someone create an example vcs file that fails to import.

add that example file as an attachment to this bug report.

I do find it strange that anyone would use vcs format these days. we barely
still support vcs in KOrganizer.  we no longer will maintain the very low-level
vcs parser. but anyway, I'm willing to take a look if someone provides an
example.

kontact (5.5.1) using Qt 5.7.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Clicking on "File>Quit" to exit Kontact crashes it if it is attempting to
update folders on an IMAP account. This appears to happen 100% of the time. I
manually quit frequently due to a separate bug I'm experiencing, whering moving
or deleting multiple messages (even just two) will cause the messages to move,
but they will never visibly leave the inbox, and no other changes to the inbox
will display until Kontact is restarted.

Try 3.2.1, you probably only have OpenGL 2.1, not 3.0, and 3.2.0 had a bug
where that wasn't caught.

I can confirm this. Forward the Email works as expected. Answering the email
does not use the identity manually set in the Folder. It even ignores the the
Standard-identity. Seems it just goes on the alphabet.
Using kmail 17.04.03 on Gentoo.

Strange: Answering uses wrong ID, forward right one.

Thanks for that, this is interesting information.  I guess I should try to
somehow create a service file for both versions of Firefox, and see if that
helps.

Also, my version of KDE is so outdated at this point that I can perfectly
