[Bug 365913] [NEW] Kubuntu 9.04 does not lock screen after resume from suspend-to-ram, posing a security problem
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kubuntu-desktop lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description:Ubuntu 9.04 Release:9.04 Codename: jaunty kde4-config -v Qt: 4.5.0 KDE: 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) kde4-config: 1.0 Resuming from suspend-to-ram does not lock screen. This is a serious security problem in real life, where just opening your laptop cover will give the intruder access to the desktop. [Bug 337974] Re: Kaffeine cannot find xine_part.desktop
I've fixed this typing: sudo cp /usr/share/services/xine_part.desktop /opt/kde3/share/services/ It seems that kaffeine can't find xine_part.desktop in the old kde3 place after upgrading to the new kdelibs4c2a which are compiled with /opt/kde3 as prefix. [Bug 306056] Re: Firefox doesn't close properly - gtk-qt-engine
I have a workaround for this bug, although I'm unsure if Ubuntu has the needed package for it since it came from the Arch Linux forums. Anyway, instead of telling the GTK-QT-Engine to use the same as KDE, download and install the Oxygen GTK theme and set it to that instead. It kills this problem and still looks pretty much the same. I hope this works for you guys. -- Firefox doesn't close properly - gtk-qt-engine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306056 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk-qt-engine in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 366457] [NEW] KDE webdavs ioslave no longer works - doesn't send authorization header
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdelibs-data I use the KDE webdavs ioslave to connect to a webdav service. After upgrading to Jaunty (KDE 4.2.2), the webdavs ioslave no longer works. The site I connect to uses basic authentication. I checked the webdav ioslave and experienced the same problem. Looking at the transaction with Wireshark, It appears that the ioslave is not sending the Authorization header on the request following the first 401 response.
