[Bug 514170] [NEW] Klipper middle mouse select and paste fails sometimes
Public bug reported: In Kubuntu 9.10 using KDE 4.3.5 the middle mouse select and paste function fails in kate or kile. This seems to happen randomly and is very frustrating. Klipper has been configures to synchronize contents fo clipboard and selection, and yet this synchronization is absent. There are tell-tale blank lines in the clipboard when this happens. I seem to have this problem as well. After a few days, my installation of Kubuntu 9.10 become extremely slow, the kickoff launcher is missing all entries and compositing is disabled due to slow response. I just checked system monitor and found that system memory is fully utilized and the greatest offender is 'plasma-desktop' (currently using 2,041MiB). The second highest useage is 'nepomukservicestub' (using 286 MiB). This is making Kubuntu practically unusable for me.
