I've given up on SD boot for the moment & ordered a mSATA card. It looks like it will be easy to copy over the software & config on the USB stick. I would probably have to boot up TinyCore Linux temporarily to do the transfer. I've got coreboot version 20160307. According to the PC Engines website this introduces SD boot support. There is a 20160311 version so I may try that.
