  Hi Andras

I'm new at this, so forgive my ignorance, but as far as I know I'm building
  out of only one repo:
  git://anongit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core

As you configured the build with dictionaries, you must have
buildroot/clone/dictionaries as well, which is a different repo.
Just do ./g pull -r from the build root and build again.

 Best regards,
 Andras

Hi Andras,
I'm new and facing the same problem. Everything is getting build successfully
after the 'make'(it took a day to build all the files!) , but the next step
'make dev-install' is giving the same error Noel's getting. You mentioned 'As
you configured the build with dictionaries', how do you build without
dictionaries? Is there some option by which you can do that?
I apologize for my ignorance.
Regards,
Saurabh

I managed to get rid of this error by doing a
./configure --with-system-dicts --without-myspell-dicts
before the make instruction. The dev-install is working now :). I found these
arguments in the configure file and just gave it a try. I hardly know what I
just did, although I'm happy the installation is working.

[Libreoffice] instsetoo_native part of build failing on Windows

2011-09-07 Thread Noel Grandin
Hi

This is a Windows7 machine, with Visual Studio 2008 Express.

The instsetoo_native part of the seems to be failing because of some missing
dict_*.oxt files, see attached log.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Noel Grandin.

Did you update dictionaries repo recently? These packages were added
there a few days ago. I think you updated the core repo but you forgot
to update the dictionaries repo.
