Bird netting can be dangerous for birds and other animals because they can get tangled in it. I have read many articles about this so I hope you could find a different solution. These are the print shop suggestions I received. There were several votes for Digital Silver Imaging.Judy WongDigital Silver Imaging in Belmont is excellenthttps://www.pictexstudio.comI would try calling Lexington Graphics. Located in: Custance PlaceAddress: 76 Bedford St STE 6, Lexington, MA 02420Hours: Open ⋅ Closes5:30 PMPhone: (781) 863-9510I suggest starting out by talking to Lexington Graphics, on Bedford St here in Lexington. They provide commercial-grade color printing services, and I have been very satisfied with their results. I think they could also scan your work, which is the vital first step in producing a good print. If you’re looking for something more high-end, you could talk to Palm Press in Medford Center. They are very experienced and they do museum-grade work.I am a professional artist and have used TPI Solutions in Waltham. I found Wales in Lexington did a very good job on watercolors.Sent from my iPadOn Jun 8, 2024, at 7:01 PM, Judith Wong wrote:Thank you all for your suggestions. Re: [LincolnTalk] Speed limit and police presence on Trapelo Road
I guess these drivers are not aware of the new law in Massachusetts requiring drivers to give a minimum of four feet of clearance when passing a pedestrian, bicyclist, or other “vulnerable” user. This was enacted this past April. https://www.mass.gov/info-details/mass-general-laws-c90-ss-14Judy WongSent from my iPadOn Dec 27, 2023, at 11:57 PM, Kathleen Lomatoski wrote:Agree as well. I appreciate the police presence to remind drivers to take care with how fast they are going. I walk or run frequently on many local roads, during the current shorter daylight months and in other seasons. I am often jumping suddenly off the road to avoid being hit or brushed by cars or trucks. Many (not all!) are going at surprisingly fast speeds. Some are courteous and others race past, seemingly with no notice of pedestrians on the road. I witness drivers blowing through the stop sign on Silver Hill/Weston Rd daily, some hardly even slow down. Cars on Trapelo Rd. definitely go fast, though I have witnessed cars whizzing past me on many other local roads, even Conant Road. We were taking the family today to dinner, and like many days, there was a police presence taking speed limits by Lexington Road coming downhill where the speed is difficult to control. We are conscious of this these days, but my overarching feeling is that they are typically pulling over Lincoln residents where the risk of accident or untoward event is quite limited.
