Re: the messenger mac app

2023-05-30 Thread Herbie Allen
I’m assuming you’re talking about the Facebook Messenger? If so,then no issues
here, but I know someone that had issues with logging into Facebook on the web
in general, so my guess is you’re dealing with a site that has screwed things
lately. However, I have not tried Messenger on Windows.

Re: Face ID has stopped working systemwide on iPhone 13

2023-05-30 Thread Cara Quinn
Hi Phil,

Apologies for the obvious question, but have you made sure that the glass
protecting the camera and sensors is clean? When I hear of a camera issue with
a consistent symptom like this, I would first check to see if there may be
anything obstructing the camera / sensors.

Hope this helps and apologies if you’ve already done this.

Best of luck!

Cheers!

Cara

Try turning it off completely and turning it back on again.

Face ID has stopped working systemwide on iPhone 13

2023-05-30 Thread Phil Halton
For some reason the Face ID feature on my iPhone 13 has stopped working
throughout the system, and on all apps that use it. I have done the following:
rebooted the phone, always a good first step. Then I went into Face ID settings
and reset Face ID, and made sure that requires attention was not turned on.
Still no joy, I cannot log into any of the apps that use Face ID for some
reason I just get the “face not recognized “message consistently. Any ideas
before I call Apple?

Sent from my IPhone
