I'm using the new feature of the imap trash

what “new feature”?

, so deleted mails are no longer
shown in the local waste bin, but in the imap trash folder.
However, when I delete a message for the first time, it appears to be
correctly
deleted, but when I refresh the inbox, it's there again.

What if you press Ctrl-E (“expunge” folder)?

On imap, mail aren't deleted, they are marked as deleted. Expunge really
delete them.

that you can now select an imap trash folder in the settings for the
account. I believe I couldn't do that in the 2.30 version.

works as it should, but I wasn't referring to clearing out the trash.

yes, but they are removed from inbox and shown in the trash folder after
marking them. And I have to mark them twice before that happens.

Hmh, where did you found that? I only have “Sent” and “Drafts” in the
“Defaults” tab here.

Not sure how it works, since I can't find that option on 2.32 here.

Mhmh ok, it doesn't exist in IMAP+ backend, not sure why.

I've tried with the IMAP backend and it seems I can't reproduce.
Deleting from a folder moves the mail to the trash folder and it's not
available anymore in the original folder, even when I refresh it.

 Regards,

Maybe it has something to do with the server. I can reproduce it
anytime. Delete mail with del. It disappears from inbox, refreshing
won't bring it back. But when I then click on the trash-folder it's not
there. Then going back to inbox and it's back again.
Guess I have to try another e-mail client like thunderbird, to see if it
is maybe the server.
Sorry then.

Could you open a bug on upstream bugzilla and add it there? I'd do it
myself but without any way to reproduce it's kind of hard to explain.
