New version for Pingus
Hi, It seems that Pingus (a free implementation of Lemmings) have released a new version, which is now based on SDL. The current maintainer (Raphael Goulais) seems to be MIA for about 2 year. db.d.o says last seen is: Mon, 27 Jun 2005 14:40:58 and there is no recent upload. Is anyone in this group interested in uploading a new version for this package? From the upstream news section: Pingus 0.7.0 is released, this is the first working version of Pingus that is based on SDL. New things in this release: * switch from ClanLib to SDL * new anti-aliased fonts * better support for resolutions larger then 800x600 (see --geometry WxH option) * s-expression based file format (converter scripts are available) * PPC and 64bit support * language support for Czech, German, Finish, Italian, Norwegian, Serbian, Turkish, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, Fench and Polish * level editor temporarly removed * a little less fps then the ClanLib version * no new levels or other main features -- Lior Kaplan [EMAIL PROTECTED] GPG fingerprint: C644 D0B3 92F4 8FE4 4662 B541 1558 9445 99E8 1DA0 ___ Pkg-games-devel mailing list Pkg-games-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-games-devel

I mean I thought it was a Debian packaging mailing list, not an Ubuntu one. This suffix should be set for an Ubuntu upload, but not for a Debian upload, no ? No. Please read what I pointed you to read. You will understand once you realize the initial packaging was done in ubuntu and I took it and continued with version 2.0.0-1, which is the first version after 2.0.0-0ubuntu1. The 2.0.0-1 changelog entry is relevant for Debian since it includes the Closes line for the Debian ITP, which needed to be a part of the .changes file once the initial upload of the package is done. -- Regards, EddyP = Imagination is more important than knowledge A.Einstein ___ Pkg-games-devel mailing list Pkg-games-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-games-devel

Bug#438726: marked as done ([INTL:nl] (untested) Dutch translation)

Debian bug tracking system administrator (administrator, Debian Bugs database) ---BeginMessage--- Package: hex-a-hop Version: 0.0.20070315-1 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Here's a dutch translation file. I looked at the homepage (http://www.aceinternet.co.uk/~mokona/) and the debian source, but could not find a way to actually compile the game with gettext support, so I did not test it. In particular, I did not at all try to get the newlines correct (in fact I didn't insert any), so it will probably look awful. This can be fixed by anyone, of course, but IMO it should be fixed in the code, not in the translation. That is, it would be better if the code determines the length of the string and breaks it into lines itself.
