Thanks, I already had a fix for this, but it seems to have been left out
from the upload and missed during our testing. Patch has been added to
svn and will be in the next upload

Bug#428350: fretsonfire: lighting occludes frets

Severity: normal

the red/green/yellow/blue lights in the top left and right of the game
screen end up getting too bright at some points during songs, and you
can't see the notes that you're supposed to play.

note that the upstream version does not have this problem.  the lighting
renders behind the fret board.

if i had to guess, the lighting is being rendered in the wrong order.
