Re: Some [more] packages blocked for the gcc-defaults transition
* Adeodato Simó [Wed, 28 May 2008 15:25:26 +0200]: Hello, gcc-defaults is almost ready to migrate to testing (finally!), and since I would really hate to see this delayed any further, I've put one of these block uploads thingies in place for the packages below. Thanks in advance for your understanding, and I hope it's not much of an inconvenience. If all goes well this should be done before the weekend. Well, as it happens, I had an incomplete list. Here are some more blocked packages. The ETA also slips a bit because of this; I'd kill to have it done by Sunday, but beginnings of the week sounds more likely. Bug#483558: marked as done (antlr: builds arch:any package in binary-indep (or libantlr2.7-cil should be arch:all))
Your message dated Fri, 30 May 2008 20:47:04 + with message-id [EMAIL PROTECTED] and subject line Bug#483558: fixed in antlr 2.7.7-6 has caused the Debian Bug report #483558, regarding antlr: builds arch:any package in binary-indep (or libantlr2.7-cil should be arch:all) to be marked as done. This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with. If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith. (NB: If you are a system administrator and have no idea what this message is talking about, this may indicate a serious mail system misconfiguration somewhere. Please contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] immediately.) -- 483558: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=483558 Debian Bug Tracking System Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] with problems ---BeginMessage--- Package: antlr Version: 2.7.7-5 Severity: serious Hello. plibantlr2.7-cil is declared as arch:any, but it is built on the binary-indep target. Either it should be built in binary-arch, or it should be arch:all after all (my limited knowledge of Mono makes me think that could indeed be the case, but please double-check). Also, if it's indeed an arch:all package, please move the mono-related build-dependencies to Build-Depends-Indep. (If it's arch:any, you'll have to build the -cil only in the architectures where mono is available.) I'd appreciate if there could be a quick upload to fix these issues, as I need antlr in order to migrate gcc-defaults to testing. Bug#483752: fixed
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following package(s) have been removed from unstable: libsac-java-gcj | 1.3-1 | alpha, hppa Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug. The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the master archive (ftp-master.debian.org) and will not propagate to any mirrors (ftp.debian.org included) until the next cron.daily run at the earliest. Packages are never removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency problems. Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package was superseded by another one. Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. Bug#340998: why wontfix?
Matthias Why won't you apply Shaun's 1-line patch and fix this bug? if the azureus/swt-gtk maintainer insists on shipping a private copy of swt-gtk, it's his problem; it was often discussed in the past. As far as I understand, it is eclipse shipping its private copy, not azureus. But anyway: Would applying Shaun's patch break anything?
