puppetlabs-ring-middleware-clojure REMOVED from testing

Bug #880320: ssl-utils-clojure: FTBFS: Test failures

The script that generates this mail tries to extract removal
reasons from comments in the britney hint files. Those comments
were not originally meant to be machine readable, so if the
reason for removing your package seems to be nonsense, it is
probably the reporting script that got confused. Please check the
actual hints file before you complain about meaningless removals.

This package fails to build with default-jdk pointing to openjdk-9-jdk,
and will probably require significant work to fix; it depends on many
implementation details of com.sun.net.ssl, which have long been private
and are now gone.

Upstream haven't made a release, commit, or any messages on their mailing
list, for over two years.

The version we have packaged is very old; it doesn't support SNI which
is pretty much essential these days. This is, admittedly, fixed upstream.

I can't find any rdeps.

Can we RM it?

Cheers,
Chris.

This package fails to build with default-jdk pointing to openjdk-9-jdk.
The wiki has some common problems and their solutions:
https://wiki.debian.org/Java/Java9Pitfalls

I don't really understand the problem, it's failing to find a class;
this kind of thing shouldn't have changed. I didn't investigate much as
I am hoping to RM it.

Upstream's last release was in 2010. There's no source control or
anything. There's a phone number.

The package seems to have been superseded by JPOP:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jpop-optimizer/

The package has no current rdeps. It appears to have been added to
support an unspecified Debian Med package, which I am unable to locate.
The maintainer has ended up as Debian Java out of.. politeness?

Can we RM it?

Bug#883531: Removed package(s) from unstable

2017-12-14 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

libplexus-containers1.5-java |1.7.1-6 | all

--- Reason ---
RoQA; manual cruft removal needed
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically
removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and
close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package
was superseded by another one.

The version of this package that was in Debian prior to this removal
can still be found using http://snapshot.debian.org/.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 883...@bugs.debian.org.

Bug#882596: Removed package(s) from unstable

2017-12-14 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

emma-coverage | 2.0.5312+dfsg-4 | source
libemma-java | 2.0.5312+dfsg-4 | all

--- Reason ---
ROM; Obsolete, doesn't support Java >=7, FTBFS with Java 9

We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed
correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 882...@bugs.debian.org.

Hi,

I have disabled the sejda-console module because at least one
build-dependency is currently not available in Debian

com.lexicalscope.jewelcli:jewelcli

I only packaged sejda for pdfsam. Personally I don't need sejda-console
and pdfsam provides the same features with a nice GUI. I'm happy to
accept help though, if someone really needs this shell interface.

Regards,

Markus

Bug#884377: Missing the sejda-console

2017-12-14 Thread Joachim Breitner
Package: libsejda-java
Version: 3.2.38-1
Severity: wishlist

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hi,

according to https://github.com/torakiki/sejda/wiki/Getting-Started
sejda comes with a console for command line use, and I would have
expected this in this package, or in a separate package. Is there a good
reason for its absence?

Thanks,
Joachim
