The patch can be found in the Hibernate JIRA system, issue #HHH-218[1]. This patch (or 2.7.6) is a dependency for Hibernate. I would like to see this patch applied for 2.7.5, as it is something that is supposed to be included in 2.7.6. I am also willing to do the work to implement this.
