Re: get-orig-source usage
2014-06-30 23:46 GMT+02:00 Ross Gammon rossgam...@mail.dk: I normally use: $ uscan --verbose --force-download So I can see what is happening, and to overwrite in case there was any funny business with another version of the tarball. I think you need to have a recent version of uscan for the Files-Excluded bit to work. That could be the problem - it fooled me the first time. Recording how you did the repacking in get-orig-source is probably handy for the person that packages the next upstream version. Then you can just do: $ debian/rules get-orig-source when you want to download the latest and repack (although you have to check there are no new files that need to be excluded). Files-Excluded bit not work this way for me :( Anyway now I now better how to use get-orig-source ... Re: Bug#753336: zam-plugins: New version upstream: 3.1
2014-06-30 19:26 GMT+02:00 Damien Zammit dam...@zamaudio.com: I am the author of zam-plugins and I have made huge improvements to the package, such as providing GUIs for all plugins. Please consider updating to the new version upstream (3.1). The new version does not require any of the old deps except for the ones listed in the readme, it is a complete rewrite. Hello Damien, just work on updating ... Few questions: 1) Are you still providing LADSPA plugins too? #install -t /tmp/buildd/zam-plugins-3.1~repack0/debian/zam-plugins/usr/lib/ladspa bin/*-ladspa.so if not ladspa dir also should be installed. 2) You shipping lv2 and ladspa header with your code ... The straight-forward fix is to simply drop the relevant ControlGroup= line from the service file. See also [1] for a similar change in Fedora. But is it a fix? Can you confirm that systemd/linux is doing the right thing nowadays WRT to cpu cgroups and realtime? This workaround was there for a reason, as explained by [1]. The ControlGroup lvalue was removed in systemd 204. Should we need to add a versioned breaks on systemd 205? Bug#753435: /usr/bin/ghb: Cannot unselect Burned In subtitle when output is MPEG-4 (avformat)
Package: handbrake Version: 0.9.9+svn6032+dfsg1-2 Severity: normal File: /usr/bin/ghb Dear Maintainer, when ripping a DVD in MPEG-4 format with including subtitles (VOBSUB tracks), it is impossible to unselect all Burned In radio buttons. Looking at sources, this restriction seems to come from libhb/common.c, hb_subtitle_can_pass function, where test if (source == VOBSUB) return 1 exists only for HB_MUX_MP4V2. Don't know why this test cannot be applied to HB_MUX_AV_MP4 (aka libavformat) too? It is really annoying to always get a subtitle burned in the video track. Btw, handbrake from Ubuntu supports it due to its linkage against libmp4v2. I hope you can find a solution to this problem. Best regards.
