Bug#879076: libopenshot: FTBFS on ppc64(el) and powerpc: several tests report discrepancies
Source: libopenshot Version: 0.1.8+ds1-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Justification: fails to build from source User: debian-powe...@lists.debian.org Builds of libopenshot for ppc64el and the non-release architectures powerpc and ppc64 have been failing with mostly identical errors, as detailed at https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=ppc64el=0.1.8%2Bds1-1=1508343041=0 https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=powerpc=0.1.8%2Bds1-1=1508342906=0 https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=ppc64=0.1.8%2Bds1-1=1508342970=0 The only difference in errors between the architectures is that on ppc64, FFmpegReader_Check_Video_File crashes (at line 82) before it can report any errors, as does FFmpegWriter_Test_Webm (which is otherwise successful). Apart from that, there are a total of 29 discrepancies across the tests Clip_Effects, FFmpegReader_Check_Video_File, ImageWriter_Test_Gif, and Timeline_Check_Two_Track_Video. In Clip_Effects, three values that should be 255 come out 239, and three that should be 0 come out 16. (NB: 16 + 239 = 255.) In FFmpegReader_Check_Video_File (when it doesn't crash altogether), five values come out somewhat greater than expected. In ImageWriter_Test_Gif and Timeline_Check_Two_Track_Video, a number of values come out 0 -- four in ImageWriter_Test_Gif and fourteen in Timeline_Check_Two_Track_Video. Could you please take a look? Bug#873541: libsbsms update
Hi Clayton, we have a issue in debian with libsbsms https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=873541 According to audacity mailing list you updated audacity embedded sbsms lib to 2.2.0 version so the audacity now is developed against it . https://sourceforge.net/p/audacity/mailman/message/35780193/ And it not build against 2.0.2 libsbsms what we have in debian archive. In debian we buildidng against system-wide libs rather then embedded. Can you please update sourceforge source and make 2.2.0 release. It would help fix this issue best regards mira ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
Bug#878923: vlc: starting video crashes KDE session
On 2017.10.17 21:18, Sebastian Ramacher wrote: A quick internet search suggests that is caused by old sessions and cleaning them should help getting rid of this error. I believe I have tried that without success. Unless you have some specific hints. Does it happen only with that file or any video? I have download another video from Youtube, it's the same. In any case, please attach vlc -vvv of a crashing run and I guess we'd also need the X server log. Please also tell us more about your hardware and if you use any propriety drivers. Attaching vlc -vvv output, and Xorg.0.log It's a laptop with i7-4710HQ and GeForce GTX 860M (hybrid graphics). And yes, I use proprietary nvidia-driver package. Desktop runs on Intel, and that bumblebee should take care of discrete card. Actually, when you asked about drivers, I remember there was quite recent nvidia-driver upgrade for my Testing machine, maybe it broke something?
