Bug#890368: wah-plugins FTCBFS: upstream Makefile hard codes the build architecture compiler for linking

2018-02-13 Thread Helmut Grohne
Source: wah-plugins
Version: 0.1.0-4
Tags: patch upstream
User: helm...@debian.org
Usertags: rebootstrap

wah-plugins fails to cross build from source, because the upstream
Makefile hard codes the build architecture compiler for linking. After
making it substitutable, it cross builds successfully. Please consider
applying the attached patch.

pd-iemtab REMOVED from testing

2018-02-13 Thread Debian testing watch
FYI: The status of the pd-iemtab source package
in Debian's testing distribution has changed.

  Previous version: 1.20-2
  Current version:  (not in testing)
  Hint: Package not in unstable

The script that generates this mail tries to extract removal
reasons from comments in the britney hint files. Those comments
were not originally meant to be machine readable, so if the
reason for removing your package seems to be nonsense, it is
probably the reporting script that got confused. Please check the
actual hints file before you complain about meaningless removals.

new packages into testing happens multiple times a day you will receive

Bug#890360: RFP: vlc-plugin-bittorrent -- Bittorrent plugin for VLC

2018-02-13 Thread Petter Reinholdtsen
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
X-Debbugs-CC: Debian Multimedia Maintainers

* Package name: vlc-plugin-bittorrent
  Version : n/a, no tags in git
  Upstream Author : Johan Gunnarsson
* URL : https://github.com/johang/vlc-bittorrent
* License : GPL
  Description : Bittorrent plugin for VLC

 VLC is the VideoLAN project's media player.
 .
 This plugin adds support streaming content using bittorrent, either by
 specifying a torrent file, or by providing a magnet link.

I've tested the code and made a draft package, and the plugin work. I
contacted the author in
https://github.com/johang/vlc-bittorrent/issues/1 >, asking if he
want to get the source packaged. If so, I hope he can be convinced to
tag releases and quickly fix bugs we discovver.

thanks for your additional feedback, I uploaded a new package with your
suggestions based on the finally released upstream 1.0.0 to mentors:

https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/libh/libheif/libheif_1.0.0-1.dsc

Please let me know if there is anything else I should do to get this
imported into Debian.

Thanks and best regards,

It seems to be a Qt bug (maybe related to QTBUG-53022). Fedora seems to carry a
patch for that (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1381828).
