[DRE-maint] Bug#644501: libeventmachine-ruby: not installable in sid

2011-10-07 Thread Ralf Treinen
This dependency is calculated at package build time:

Package: libeventmachine-ruby
Architecture: all
Depends: libeventmachine-ruby1.8 (= ${source:Version}),
libeventmachine-ruby1.8 ( ${source:Version}.1~), ${misc:Depends}

However, since the package is Architecture=all it can (at the moment) not
be binNMUed.

[DRE-maint] Bug#644501: libeventmachine-ruby: not installable in sid

2011-10-07 Thread Gunnar Wolf
Ralf Treinen dijo [Fri, Oct 07, 2011 at 05:43:18PM +0200]:

 -Ralf.

Please note that this package is living its final days and should be
removed soon - As part of the pkg-ruby-extras policy, we have renamed
it to ruby-eventmachine (which provides/replaces/breaks it), and the
binary packages named after the old scheme (libeventmachine-ruby*) are
just empty transitional packages.

I *think* we should close this bug... but I'm not positive about it.

Your package contains new components which requires manual editing of
the override file. It is ok otherwise, so please be patient. New
packages are usually added to the override file about once a week.

You may have gotten the distribution wrong. You'll get warnings above
if files already exist in other distributions.

[DRE-maint] ruby-stomp override disparity

2011-10-07 Thread Debian FTP Masters
There are disparities between your recently accepted upload and the
override file for the following file(s):

libstomp-ruby-doc_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override
says doc.
libstomp-ruby-doc_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says priority is optional, override
says extra.
libstomp-ruby1.8_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override
says ruby.
libstomp-ruby1.8_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says priority is optional, override
says extra.
libstomp-ruby1.9.1_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override
says ruby.
libstomp-ruby1.9.1_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says priority is optional, override
says extra.
libstomp-ruby_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says section is oldlibs, override says
ruby.
libstomp-ruby_1.1.9-1_all.deb: package says priority is optional, override says
extra.

Please note that a list of new sections were recently added to the
archive: cli-mono, database, debug, fonts, gnu-r, gnustep, haskell,
httpd, java, kernel, lisp, localization, ocaml, php, ruby, vcs, video,
xfce, zope. At this time a script was used to reclassify packages into
these sections. If this is the case, please only reply to this email if
the new section is inappropriate, otherwise please update your package
at the next upload.

Either the package or the override file is incorrect. If you think
the override is correct and the package wrong please fix the package
so that this disparity is fixed in the next upload. If you feel the
override is incorrect then please file a bug against ftp.debian.org and
explain why. Please INCLUDE the list of packages as seen above, or we
won't be able to deal with your request due to missing information.

Please make sure that the subject of the bug you file follows the
following format:

Subject: override: BINARY1:section/priority, [...], BINARYX:section/priority

Include the justification for the change in the body of the mail please.

[NB: this is an automatically generated mail; if you already filed a bug
and have not received a response yet, please ignore this mail. Your bug
needs to be processed by a human and will be in due course, but until
then the installer will send these automated mails; sorry.]
