[DRE-maint] Bug#713146: Bug#713146: builds fine with libxml2 from testing

2013-06-23 Thread Cédric Boutillier
Control: reassign -1 libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-2
Control: affects -1 ruby-nokogiri
Control: forwarded -1 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=695699

This bug is known by ruby-nokogiri upstream,
https://github.com/sparklemotion/nokogiri/issues/829
and pinned it to a libxml2 bug introduced in 2.9:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=695699

To circumvent this, newer versions of ruby-nokogiri embed a version of
libxml2 2.8 :(

I am reassigning it to libxml2.

Greetings,

Cédric

[DRE-maint] [Bug 1088440] Re: syntax highlighting is broken using coderay

2013-06-23 Thread Launchpad Bug Tracker

Title:
syntax highlighting is broken using coderay

Status in “redmine” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The coderay syntax highlighting library redmine is using changed the
HTML output of short-form CSS class names (like pp) to longer names
  (like preprocessor) a year ago.

Redmine changed their names also, but the package of ruby-coderay
which is currently used by redmine still uses the old names.

This breaks syntax highlighting in redmine, ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

[DRE-maint] Bug#713940: RM: ruby-parsetree -- ROM; Not compatible with Ruby ≥1.9, replaced by ruby-sourcify

2013-06-23 Thread Gunnar Wolf
Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

ruby-parsetree is not (and will not be) compatible with Ruby versions
above 1.8.x, and as we aim to remove it for Jessie, we have agreed to
start removing packages with low popcon. Ruby-parsetree is *not* a
leaf package, but for newer Ruby versions, a reimplementation using
suitable different techniques is available as ruby-sourcify.

[DRE-maint] Bug#713150: unreproducible

 Hi!

I have tried to reproduce this bug with pbuilder and sbuild and failed.
Attached is my build log with sbuild (with network disabled, after
 update of the chroot).

I just tried again, and it still hangs with:

make[1]: Leaving directory `/«PKGBUILDDIR»/ext/fastfilereader'
dh_installchangelogs -pruby-eventmachine /«PKGBUILDDIR»/CHANGELOG.md upstream
/usr/bin/ruby1.8 -I/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby
/usr/lib/ruby/vendor_ruby/gem2deb/test_runner.rb
./tests/em_test_helper.rb:54: warning: already initialized constant
TIMEOUT_INTERVAL

ps looks like:
 6853 ?S 0:00 | \_ /usr/bin/make -f debian/rules binary
 6854 ?S 0:00 | \_ /usr/bin/perl -w /usr/bin/dh binary
--buildsystem=ruby --with ruby
 6867 ?S 0:00 | \_ /usr/bin/perl -w
/usr/bin/dh_auto_install -O--buildsystem=ruby
 6870 ?Sl 0:00 | \_ /usr/bin/ruby -w
/usr/bin/dh_ruby --install
/build/ruby-eventmachine-nQxvs4/ruby-eventmachine-1.0.3/debian/rub
 7278 ?S 0:00 | \_ ruby1.8 debian/ruby-tests.rb

And:
# strace -p 7278
Process 7278 attached - interrupt to quit
select(4, [3], [], [], {0, 2350}) = 0 (Timeout)
gettimeofday({1372050896, 483420}, NULL) = 0
gettimeofday({1372050896, 483493}, NULL) = 0
select(4, [3], [], [], {0, 9}) = 0 (Timeout)
gettimeofday({1372050896, 573823}, NULL) = 0
gettimeofday({1372050896, 574077}, NULL) = 0
select(4, [3], [], [], {0, 9}) = 0 (Timeout)

No idea...

Lucas
