[DRE-maint] Bug#665255: Bug#665255: ruby-net-http-persistent: FTBFS: tests failed

2012-05-05 Thread Christian Hofstaedtler
I'm not sure why this happens, but I've observed the test failure
goes away when line 24 in test/test_net_http_persistent_ssl_reuse.rb
is changed to this:

   @key = OpenSSL::PKey::RSA.new 1024

Actually, any number 745 works on my system.

 During a rebuild of all packages in sid, your package failed to build on
 amd64.

Hi,

This failure is caused by the OpenSSL 1.0.0h → 1.0.1 upgrade. I have
not taken a deeper look into this, but when installing a pre-1.0.1
libssl1.0.0 package, the test passes correctly.

I have reported this upstream:

  https://github.com/drbrain/net-http-persistent/issues/25

If somebody can help me take a deeper look into why this is failing
(there is a lenghty set of differences in
/usr/share/doc/libssl1.0.0/changelog.gz), I'll be most grateful!
