Thanks for the feedback. Apparently PySide has quite a number of reverse 
dependencies, and trying to stick to "minimal energy spending", I've noticed 
the GCC-6 RC bug isn't that hard to fix; I'll upload that fix then.

It is not dead according to Git activity:

PyOtherSide is a project with different functionality, so having it is not a 
reason for removing PySide. However we have PyQt5, and that can count as such 
reason.
