Seems like a good deal! For approximately the cost of a frame/fork and a Berthoud saddle you get a complete bike! Sent from my iPhoneOn Feb 24, 2024, at 8:38 AM, Chris Fly wrote:Thanks, I'll check it out! I wonder if this is anyone on here? On Sat, Feb 24, 2024 at 7:15 AM Doug H. wrote:Here is one on craigslist... https://sandiego.craigslist.org/esd/bik/d/el-cajon-rivendell-radini-50cm/7719401355.htmlDougOn Friday, February 23, 2024 at 10:06:09 PM UTC-5 four...@gmail.com wrote:Hey all, still searching for a 50cm Roadini.. [RBW] Re: WTB: 50cm Roadini

2021-08-26 Thread Calvin Yolo
Thanks Joe. I'm leaning towards ordering a 53cm Roadeo. I think it's better
than buying that Roadini for $2k just to remove all the parts and install
the ones I'm sitting on. Looks like the geometry is really close between
the 50cm Roadini and 53cm Roadeo too, although the headtube is shorter on
the Roadeo.

[RBW] Re: WTB: 50cm Roadini

2021-08-26 Thread Joe Bernard
I owned a Roadini and it's a very nice TIG-welded slightly stout road bike,
certainly worth the $900-or-so they were going for as a frameset at last
availability. BUT...a Roadeo is pretty much a custom handbuilt lightweight
(for Riv) lugged frame that comes in production sizes and geometry. In
other words I paid about $4k for a custom Riv frame built to my size,
weight and needs, but I'd never be able to claim a Roadeo is a lower
quality bike. If you find one that fits, buy it!
