[sane-devel] help decyphering usb logs
Hi' I have two small logs, each of which I've runned throught the spike4.pl script, from the Canon CanoScan4200F. here is a link to the logs: http://www.keenan.dk/rkimgz/canoscan4200Flogs.tar.bz2 bBW4b: this is a scanner startup a small Black White scan and at the end a test of the 4 buttons on the scanner cgb1x1: is a scanner startup then 1x1cm 100dpi scan from (0,0) in first colors then in BW and last in gray. any help in understanding the logs would aid me greatly best regards Rene Kjellerup -- -- as life grows older, I gain experience.
[sane-devel] coolscan V
MY SYSTEM: debian etch i386 from new RC1 netinstall gnome gui (no nvidia drivers) Everything OK, included openGL (with added libmotif) and Xsane operating on scsi HP scanjet 6200c. usb Coolscan V (LS-50 ED) detected with: $cat /proc/bus/usb/devices though not by xsane 0.99+0.991-1 Also installed: xsane-common libsane 1.0.18-3 Not installed: sane sane-utils libsane-extras sane-coolscan2.5 QUESTION: In order to check if my coolscan is operated (minimum) by sane-coolscan2.5, can this library be added to my system as it is, or should sane replace xsane. Also, is a deb package somewhere available for sane-coolscan2.5? Not found on debian etc/unstable. Thanks for answering francesco pietra __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
