[sane-devel] CanoScan N650U / FreeBSD
I am trying to get a Cannon CanoScan N 650U working on FreeBSD 6.2-CURRENT. The scanner SEEMS to be seen, but normal VS root shows a difference. As a mortal User: $ sane-find-scanner -q found USB scanner (UNKNOWN vendor and product) at device /dev/uscanner0 As root lap# sane-find-scanner -q found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9, product=0x2206) at /dev/uscanner0 lap# scanimage -L No scanners were identified. If you were expecting something different, check that the scanner is plugged in, turned on and detected by the sane-find-scanner tool (if appropriate). Please read the documentation lap# kldstat Id Refs AddressSize Name 1 17 0xc040 714dc4 kernel 22 0xc0b15000 22c48sound.ko 31 0xc0b38000 9958 snd_uaudio.ko 41 0xc0b42000 598bcacpi.ko 52 0xc376b000 9000 ibcs2.ko 61 0xc3776000 3000 ibcs2_coff.ko 72 0xc3779000 16000linux.ko 81 0xc39df000 3000 daemon_saver.ko 91 0xc3dea000 6000 linprocfs.ko lap# Xsane configs $ grep -v ^# /usr/local/etc/sane.d/plustek.conf | grep -v option device /dev/uscanner0 usb 0x04a9 0x2206 $ grep plustek /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.conf plustek #plustek_pp $ So what did I miss?
[sane-devel] Hello!
Le jeudi 8 mars 2007, Daniel Padula a ?crit?: My name is Daniel, first of all, I am sorry for my english, I am from argentina. I am working on a linux distribution and I need to make Lexmark x1270 work, using Debian Testing. When I plug it, its detected by sane as 1100 series, and when I try to scan, its seems that try to move itself to a wrong side and even I cannot turn it off, it hang up, I have to turn it off by unplugging. How can I make it work ? Is it possible? Any suggestion is accepted. I really appreciate your help. Daniel Padula Hello, I am currently working to add support to X1200 models in the experimental version of the lexmark backend. I excpect to put a version able to park head and do a color preview by the start of next week. Regards, Stef
[sane-devel] Canon LiDE 20: Awful noise after/before scans

[sane-devel] Fujitsu M3093DG new driver
Allan has fixed the driver in the current cvs. My M3093DGdim version 02 is now working perfectly in both front duplex. The scanner doesn't support back only. Thanks Allan. I believe this thread is closed. Steve
