Qualifications:
Essentially we need a SAP HANA Basis & Security Administrator who
maintains and educates customers on existing HANA Environments, Security,
Backup & Recovery scenarios.
Competencies
Technical skills, knowledge, and expertise in SAP components, underling
databases, operating system, and hardware platform to analyze, design,
develop, document, implement in a SAP landscape. Designing, implementing,
and maintaining SAP security roles in alignment with the company’s
standards, controls and procedures.
Provide the technical expertise and support for all production and
development environments for critical systems, including SAP ECC, BW, HANA
and other SAP component systems.
Perform duties of SAP HANA Basis Administrator including, architecture,
hardware planning, capacity planning, SAP installs, system copies, change
management, ongoing administration, support pack assessment and
implementation, performance monitoring and tuning, and SAP printing.
Ensure that SAP application issues are addressed in accordance with the
business priorities.
Participate with team in designing and maintaining a global systems
landscape architecture to support all critical systems, including disaster
recovery planning and implementation.
Liaison with internal and external audit to assure Basis compliance with
audit requirements.
Maintain system integrity, ensure valid backups and restore procedures.
Troubleshooting, analyzing, and remediating SAP security access issues.
In-depth knowledge of SAP security best practices.
Engage in continuous learning to remain current with SAP and supporting
technologies.
Mentor peers
Plans and designs control functions to maintain segregation of duties for
audit compliance & controls.
Evaluates and tests the integrity and recoverability of data by reviewing
and testing proper back-up and recovery procedures.
Reviews SAP systems and makes recommendations for changes, to ensure
efficiency and integrity of information.
English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak
English.
