Position Responsibilities:
The required candidate will be able to code Sybase SQL objects (SQL
queries, stored procedures, views, etc) for a Marketing Materials
generation system
The role is part of an initiative to build a central DataMart (pulling data
from multiple sources) that will allow users to view and approve data,
generate output files, and generate reports.
Must have at least 5 years working in a large Sybase RDBMS. Must have 5
years experience writing complex stored procedures and triggers.
Skills:
Required:
Proficient in Sybase
Skilled at writing complex/advance SQL and components
Queries
Stored Procedures
Views
Etc
Data Modelling
Database Development and General Administration
Extensively developed Stored Procedures and Triggers, data feeds to
downstream system
Database Design / Modeling / Migration
Handling large databases, Data {ingestion massaging}, intra-query
parallelism
Extensive Experience in Database Optimization and Performance Tuning
