Thanks @dgadomski! Also @mruffell FYI you can just subscribe 'sts-sponsors' to the bug, we'll get an email when that is done, and for any changes to the bug. Note that subscribing us is different than adding the sts-sponsor tag. > > Cheers, > Dariusz > > On Mon, 12 Jul 2021 at 13:04, Matthew Ruffell > wrote: >> >> Hi Dan, Eric, Mauricio, >> >> Could you please review and sponsor LP #1930359 which contains a >> straightforward >> fix for glib2.0. >> >> https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/1930359 >> >> The issue is straightforward to reproduce with valgrind. Hey Matthew, Despite not being called by name, I've decided to cut in, since I've been following the case anyway. I'll review and sponsor it for you. [Sts-sponsors] Please review and sponsor LP#1930359 for glib2.0
Hi Dan, Eric, Mauricio, Could you please review and sponsor LP #1930359 which contains a straightforward fix for glib2.0. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glib2.0/+bug/1930359 The issue is straightforward to reproduce with valgrind. If you want to reproduce the customer issue of corrupted gschema.compiled causing gdm and gnome-shell to fail to start, you can use the attached schema.tar file for the set of customer schemas. Note - their gschema.compiled is already corrupted, just mv it and reboot to see the damage.
