Problems connecting just downloaded
I just downloaded Pidgin and when I added my gmail account for google talk, I chose the protocol as google talk which then puts in the gmail domain. Put in my username and password but when I go into the program to the buddy list it switches the protocol to XMPP, it will not stay on google talk, so it is unable to connect and did not download my buddy list. @Madikane, Google talk uses XMPP. The drop-down option is only offered as a convenience. Despite how strange it looks, it is correct by switching to XMPP. Can't connect to yahoo chat rooms
Hi there. I can't connect to a yahoo chat room. I'm running windows 8. I'm able to get into aim chats whenever I can find one, but clicking on the yahoo chat rooms does nothing. I can't join them.
