Can't download Pidgin for Windows

Hi,

 

Every time I try to download Pidgin for Windows, the download stops with a
message about «The signature of «file» is damaged or not valid».

Both main site and mirrors.

 

What is wrong with the signature?

Save log shortcut?

Using Pidgin for AIM, would it be possible to have the Save As have a shortcut, 
like CTRL+S? I don't like how close it is to 'clear log', I would hate to click 
that accidently when I want to save my log.

I know there's automatic log-saving, but it saves the logs with timestamps even 
though I have them hidden, manual saving hides the timestamps if they're 
hidden, unless there's a way to make the automatic logging not have the 
timestamps?

That version of pidgin is working fine here on Mageia Linux v5/v6. Some things
to check:

1. Is there anything in the pidgin debug logs?

2. Did you try disabling the firewall?

3. Is pidgin built from source? How did you install it?

4. Did you already create the GTalk account using the web-interface and are
trying to connect to it using its password  from pidgin?

5. Is there any error?

6. What's the status of the account?
