Facebook names showing as number
Hello All, I'm a long time pidgin user and just recently started experiencing an issue where facebook contacts show up as numbers. As seen here: [image: Inline image 1] It comes and goes. I've tried deleting and re-adding my facebook account but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. My current setup is: This is a known issue with the Facebook XMPP/Jabber bridge and is not an issue with Pidgin itself. For what it's worth, I'm running into it as well, here on Mageia Linux x86-64 Cauldron too. Hi Todd , I don't use facebook chat but I don't think that's pidgin bug . probably is facebook's bug . Go to facebook chat [1] . And report that bug on facebook . I think that it's server problem . I am using now pidgin look the attachment ( a jabber server and google talk ) and I have no problem like yours ;) I truly believe that it's facebook's problem .
