It's hard to say what could be happening without a debug log. Nothing about the username format should have changed with the 2.10.8 release. Yahoo connecting problem
Hello!, I am currently having trouble connecting my Yahoo Instant Messaging account using Pidgin. Every time I try to connect, it says disconnected. You have tried to reconnect multiple times. Logging into your Yahoo account may fix it (give or take a few words). I have tried logging in to yahoo in my web browser and it works just fine. If you can help me, I would strongly appreciate it!
