Re: Can't login in Wayland after change language from Russian to English in Fedora 25 alpha

2016-09-06 Thread Alexander Kolesnikov
Sorry for delay.

> I'm a bit confused. You said you were installing Fedora in Russian
language. If you pick Russian language in the initial anaconda screen, you
don't need to configure keyboard layout anymore, because the Russian layout
should be already selected. What am I missing?

Yes, Russian layout selected automatically.

> Also, if you don't create a standard user during installation, on the
first boot on the installed system (GNOME), it should boot into graphics
and force you to create a user. But you say you create the user using root
(I presume by switching into a VT). So what exactly do you do about those
"create a new user" dialogs?

I create new user after reboot after installation - "force you to create a
user".

> One thing that strikes me as odd is that you have the "Region & Language"
dialog in English, even though you have Russian language selected. If I
install a new system with Russian language, the whole system is translated.

Yes, system is translated, but I create a screenshot with English language
and only for show you which settings is selected.

In anakonda I configure Russian keyboard layout and create only password
for root without creation new user. New user I create after installation
for in first login via root. I have two lamguage layouts: Russian and
English.
After installation I have RU.png (in attachments) settings and change to

Switching the keyboard layout in Log In window? First EN->RU then RU->EN
and try to login? Or what?
If you mean this case - it does not work.

vim-7.4.909-1 update/install problems

2015-11-05 Thread Alexander Kolesnikov
Hi all!

I can not find vim-7.4.909-1 in my testing repos on F22.
I download it from
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=695982
minimal, enhanced and common RPMs.

Try install with rpm -i vim* and have errors:
e.g.: file /usr/bin/vi from install of vim-minimal-2:7.4.909-1.fc22.x86_64
conflicts with file from package vim-minimal-2:7.4.827-1.fc22.x86_64

Any idea for update without removing vim-*-2:7.4.827-1.fc22.x86_64?

Kernel Regression Testing

2015-11-04 Thread Alexander Kolesnikov
Hi all!

Can anybody help me with Kernel Regression Testing?
I read:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KernelTestingInitiative
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KernelRegressionTestGuidelines

Download tests, edit .config and have some problems:
1. start runtests.sh with "stress" option (./runtests.sh -t stress) test
running and after any times log of this test have size of 98M already
during about 4 hours. And with other options test complete correct.

Tail of this log:
ipcrm -m 393218
ipcrm -m 294915
ipc_str complete
ipcrm -m 1044938753
ipcrm -m 393218
ipcrm -m 294915
ipcrm -s 1705869312
ipcrm -m 1044938753
ipcrm -m 393218
ipcrm -m 294915
ipcrm -m 1044938753
ipcrm -m 393218
ipcrm -m 294915
ipcrm -m 1044938753
ipcrm -m 393218
ipcrm -m 294915
ipc_str complete
ipcrm -m 1044938753
ipcrm -m 393218
ipcrm -m 294915

2. And second problem:
After complete I have any error:

Test suite complete PASS

Your log file is being submitted
Traceback (most recent call last):

print req.text
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/munch/__init__.py", line 128, in

Any problem with python?

Hi all!

My name is Alexander Kolesnikov, I am from St. Petersburg, Russia. I use
Linux about 6 years: 4 years as system administrator of RedHat and CentOS
and last two years Fedora is primary home OS. I have backgroud in system
administration and QA. I would like to help Fedora QA team.
And I hope, that someone help me to join in QA group in FAS, I am already

)
My irc nickname is krter.
I hope I can be useful for FedoraProject.

P.S.: Sorry for my not good English. :)
