Re: Where to put desired outcome?

2010-10-29 Thread jdunham
I am not going to check the books for the true right answers, because
I am too busy getting my own stuff done. But I'll try to help a
little.

I think only Projects should possibly have a desired outcome (also
called a goal). The goal for all actions is Get It Done. If you
have to analyze or evaluate every action, that will prevent you from
getting things done. If the goal of a task is not obvious, then it's
probably not actually a proper task.

Most projects may not need a desired outcome either. I mean, they
should all _have_ a desired outcome, but if you have to write it down
to remember it, maybe it wasn't so important after all, and maybe you
should save yourself some hassle and find another project.

The desired outcomes are useful in the higher-level reviews, in which
you decide which projects you should be working on. mGSD doesn't have
a built-in process for higher-level reviews.

After all that, if you still want to record goals for your projects,
you can edit any project tiddler, and add text to its content
field. You can make a bulleted list of all the goals for a project.

 Hello there,

I am quite new to this GTD stuff, but am quite intrigued by the
possibilities. I am trying to use GTD with the help of MGSD. I was
just wondering; As I have understood an essential part of an action is
the desired outcome. In MGSD, what is the best place for this
information? I could double-click the tiddler and add the desired
outcome as an note, but is that the best way?

How can I add other features of a blog to my space, such as

 3. Creating a table
 4. Comment area
 5. hit counter .

Give me some suggestion to grasp programing so that I can do something

[tw] Re: jtab macro not working in 2.6.0

2010-10-29 Thread Måns
Hi Heller
 A tiidler test with
 jtab 'Am7 / B D'
 gives the following error
 Error while executing macro jtab:
RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded
In 2.5.2 it works just fine.
In 2.4.1 http://guitar.tiddlyspot.com/#Tabs%2FAkkorder it works fine
as well
In 2.5.3 it stopped working:
http://maans.bplaced.net/TiddlyHome/guitar/#Sunshine

I don't know what caused it - and its too bad!! It's a very nice
plugin - really usefull and intuitive..

Dear Sir, Jeremy,

Thank You very much sir. By creating this wonderful thing you have done a
very great thing for the world.

Also we are planning to use Tiddlyspace in schools for teaching-learning
process.

One doubt, why don't you put an easy editor with new tiddlers.

Sree Tobias created a space for the technical illiterants like me about
formatting.

Thanking you again,
Raji Chandrasekhar

It seems that something odd is going on in TiddlySpace. I raised an
 issue here -http://github.com/TiddlySpace/tiddlyspace/issues#issue/443

I've tried something that will hopefully fix your space for the time
being whilst the issue above is addressed. Can you let me know if the
 problems are now going away?

  Hi again Jon

Great that you've created the ListOfPlaces tiddler.

Re: keeping edits of SiteTitle and removing rootTree tag from Dad
tiddler. I originally created the tree using Firefox portable on a PC.
I get the same results with Firefox on mac too. (both are latest
versions). Making Dad tiddler public solved that part of the problem.
With the SiteTitle and subTitle they are public already, if I change
them, save changes and close the tiddlers it holds the information.
But as soon as I log out it says there are unsaved changes that will
be lost (even though the tiddlers are now closed!).

Putting birth dates on tiddler titles with the same name is a great
  idea, I will try it.

Having extra fields for baptisms and burials would be a nice addition.
So would removing the age if no death date was entered.

  Regards
  Richard
