plugging in a usn device freeze the computer and reboots

upon reboot the usb device a second display panel has to have the drivers
reloaded the command is "sudo ./displaylink-driver-1.4.210.run"
it also freezes when i insert a usb external hard driv, after the i can
access the usb external hard drive
